What's on the news today?

Apparently in Oklahoma, 2/3 of people support using an alternative method for the death penalty if the needle is taken away. Honestly I would have to agree. If you’re convicted for murder, rape, etc. and there is overwhelming evidence that you have done so, then I believe you should die. “An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind” may be true, but if one of your loved ones were murdered and the killer is sent to live in prison for the rest of their lives, where it is rent free, food free, and don’t have to pay the usual bills adults have to pay (like insurance, gas, electric, water, etc.), wouldn’t you be ticked off? The killer who murdered your loved one is living the rest of his life in a non-responsibility held institution? Sure, I know it’s prison, and I know prison sucks. Trust me, I’ve had enough family members tell me stories about jail and prison for me to know it’s not really fun. But how I see it in my eyes is why would you let a killer live, just because people think it’s wrong to go with the death penalty? Murder is wrong, and obviously the criminal didn’t follow the law or else they wouldn’t be there! Do unto others as they do unto you. They want to kill someone? They can be killed too. If you have your morals about capital punishment that’s fine but until you have a loved one murdered, I don’t want to hear about your opinion.
