Ok so today my lab and I wet on a
field trip to the Krohn’s Conservatory and I went to the Butterfly Hall. You
walk into a room FILLED with butterflies and beautiful, bright flowers and hot
sweaty humidity. There are all kinds of butterflies; there is butterflies that
have camouflage on the outside and a beautiful blue color on the inside,
orange, black with red stripes, black with white stripes, etc. I was with my
friend Dylian and he helped me catch a black and blue one and of course as soon
as I start holding it a stupid wasp flies in my face and, knowing me, I flip
out and run away screaming “NOPE!” and I
lose my butterfly. L
By the end, we had sweat pouring down our fore heads. We had been walking in
the heat all day and sitting on the hot, sweaty, grossly humid bus with at
least twenty other kids my age who is also sweating as much as I am. Then we
went to the Cincinnati Art Museum and the air conditioning felt so good! But
the art was very pretty awesome too. I saw this one painting of a woman breast feeding her two children. The
time era was from the Italian Renaissance and I’m not sure why it caught my
attention so much but it did. After we left the museum, Brandon, Kevin, Damon,
and I went back to the bus for some lunch. Dylian and Hannah followed soon
after and once it started raining everyone got off the bus to try and cool off.
I was standing by the guardrail and Dylian “ACCIDENTLY” pushed me and I fell
over the railing and scratched up the back of my knees. Then we all returned to
the bus and went back to Diamond to catch our bus’ home. It was a pretty fun
field trip all in all.
